The historic city of Murcia is just 15 minutes drive from Rubi 3.

Lying on the banks of the river Segura the city dates back to prehistoric times.  There are plenty of sights to see including the Cathedra de Santa Maria, Plaza de las Flores and the Episcopal Palace.

Take a stroll along the river and work up an appetite for the local cuisine that the region is famous for.  Murcia boasts several Michelin starred restaurants as well as a fantastic selection of local and international bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.

You can also take a train from Murcia to connect with many other cities in Spain including Madrid, Barcelona, Cartagena and Malaga.

There are many beaches just a short drive away:

Los Alcazares is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Costa Cálida with white sand and clear blue water. You can enjoy all kinds of water sports such as sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, kite surfing and boating all year round. 

San Pedro del Pinatar boasts 14kms of beaches across the Mar Menor and Mediterranean but is most famous for its local mud baths - allowing you to take advantage of the natural healing properties of this mud, and its free.

Cover yourself in mud, bake in the sun while it dries then wash it off and then go for lunch in one of the many beachfront cafes and restaurants.

RUbi3 is at the foot of the El Valle Regional Park which has 17,000 of woodland. mountain biking and walking trails to explore.   From easy walks to technical climbs there is something for all abilities and fitness levels.
